Karate for
Self Defense & Fitness

Karate is a complete self defense system. Training includes, strikes, throws, joint locks, kicks, grappling, free style sparring, and more. Training is always done with safely at the forefront and within the dynamic range that each individual student is capable of.

Karate simply means “open-hand” (open/kara hand/te). This can refer to the idea of defending oneself without the help of any weapons. It can also refer to the idea of keeping an open spirit and mind, being ready to take on any challenges with clear and considered thinking.

Gain Essential Life Skills

The Dojo welcomes skilled practitioners of other styles and beginners alike. There is a saying that the entire art can be known through a single technique. In that spirit there is only the training.

Karate is the perfect style for anyone who aims to achieve their truest and best in life. Holistically blending strong and fast techniques with slow and deliberate ones Karate is the meta practice of life itself.
